29 September. ALL Capital has provided a £6 million asset-based lending facility to Braincare Ltd, the company behind the Heights brand, supporting the next phase of the company's growth.
Founded to make evidence-based nutrition more accessible, Heights is a science-led health and wellness business focused on brain, gut and long-term health. The company develops premium nutritional supplements backed by scientific research and independent testing, with a growing product portfolio spanning cognitive performance, gut health, sleep, hydration and healthy ageing.
Established by entrepreneurs Dan Murray-Serter and Joel Freeman, Heights has built a highly engaged customer base through its combination of product innovation, educational content and strong direct-to-consumer capabilities. As advocates of the brand and its proposition, we are delighted to support the team through the next stage of growth.
ALL Capital structured and provided a £6 million asset-based lending facility designed to deliver additional liquidity and flexibility, supporting continued investment in customer acquisition, product development and future expansion.
Joel Freeman, Director at Braincare, commented: “We have ambitious plans for Braincare and wanted a funding partner that understood both the strength of the business we have built and the opportunity ahead of us. The facility from ALL Capital gives us the flexibility to continue investing in growth, from reaching new customers to developing our product range, while maintaining our focus on delivering high-quality, science-led products. We’re excited to have ALL Capital supporting us as we enter this next phase.”
With facilities of typically £5m to £20 million, ALL Capital focuses on supporting mid-market and growing businesses across the UK and Europe with funding solutions that are designed to scale and evolve as their needs change. Facilities are secured against a broad range of assets, including receivables, inventory, property and machinery, while the firm can also provide term loans beyond traditional asset-based lending parameters, enabling clients to unlock higher levels of funding to support their growth ambitions.
ALL Capital’s tailored approach is designed to enhance liquidity and support strategic objectives such as business expansion, acquisitions, or turnaround strategies, underpinned by an experienced lending team and a collaborative, responsive approach to deal structuring.
Mike Bryon, director at ALL Capital, commented: “Braincare is an impressive business operating in a growing market, with a strong brand, highly engaged customer base and a clear commitment to product quality and scientific credibility. Joel and Dan and the wider team have built an excellent platform for further growth, and we are pleased to provide a flexible funding solution that gives them the additional headroom to pursue their ambitions. We look forward to working with the team and supporting the business as it continues to scale.”
We would like to thank Crowell & Moring, European Valuations and Audit ID for their support throughout the transaction, alongside Addleshaw Goddard and Key Finance, who advised Heights.
